I am now called a writer,under the name of Ernie Lijoi Sr. but I was and still am a retired police detective, I worked Deep Cove Narcotics which means that I did not have my own identification, for a number of years.
Now I write and my first book "Street Business" has been published, my second "Shoveling the Tide" has been aproved for publication and the third in the trilogy about my experiences, "Chasing Snow" is being reviewed for publication and I'm told "no problem".
I have a fourth book which I have not named yet, but I'm almost finished with it and will name it soon.
I only wish that I had found writing 40 years ago, but had I found it then, I may not have as much to tell.
